Our Family Habits App won first place on Uneed! (and #3 for the week)
Our Family Habits launched on Uneed and finished first for the day and third for the whole week, with over 100 upvotes. Here's why that matters to us more than a badge.

On October 9, we put Our Family Habits up on Uneed, a launch community where makers share what they've built and people vote for the tools they actually want.
By the end of the day, we were the Daily Winner. First place.
By the end of the week, we'd finished third for the entire week, with over 100 upvotes.
I'll be honest. We didn't expect that.
Why this one meant something
Our Family Habits is a quiet app. It doesn't have a cartoon mascot or a leaderboard. It helps a family decide what matters, make it visible, and repeat it until it becomes who they are. Make your bed. Get the trash out by noon. Be kind to your sister. Small things, done again and again.
That's not usually what wins a launch day.
But here's what struck me, looking at who voted. We're raising kids in the most screen-centered generation there has ever been. Phones in every pocket. Tablets in every backpack. It would be easy to assume nobody wants one more app in the house.
And yet a whole lot of people showed up and said, in effect: we want this. Not more screen time. Better habits. As a family. Together.
That tells me something I've believed for a long time, and it's good to see it out loud. Parents haven't given up on the small, faithful work of raising their kids. They're looking for help carrying it.
What it says about the families we get to serve
Every upvote was a person. Some were makers. Some were parents.
What they had in common was a hope that technology can do something more useful in a home than keep everyone quiet. That a screen on the kitchen counter can point a family toward each other instead of away. That the thing that buzzes in your pocket can remind your kid to feed the cat, then get out of the way.
It's why we built this. We're a family of seven. We needed a way to stop being the only reminder in our own house, and to give our kids a rhythm they could own.
Thank you
To everyone who upvoted, commented, shared it with a friend, or tried it for the first time that week: thank you. Truly. You gave a small, homegrown app a very big week.
We don't take it lightly that you'd trust us with something as personal as your family's rhythm. We love that we get to partner with parents in this. Not to replace the work you're doing, but to carry a little of it, so you can spend more of your attention on your kids and less of it on remembering.
What's next
We're not slowing down. We're building more ways for families to plan their week together, see each child's day at a glance, and celebrate the streaks that turn chores into character.
If you found us through Uneed, welcome. And if you haven't tried it yet, start with Our Family Habits this week. Pick one habit your family wants to keep. Make it visible. Then watch what a little repetition does.
