Undo a tap, or start everyone fresh
Awarded the wrong points or redeemed the wrong reward? There's now an Undo button on every entry in History. And when you just want a clean slate, you can reset points for one child or the whole family — without throwing the old history away.
Real life is messy. You tap "Brush teeth" for the wrong kid, redeem a reward twice by accident, or get to the end of a long month and just want to wipe the board and start the new season clean. Two new tools for exactly those moments.
Undo any entry
Every line in History now has an Undo button. Tap it and the entry is reversed — the points go back exactly the way they came, whether it was an action you awarded or a reward a kid redeemed. Balances correct themselves on the spot.
It's a clean reversal, not a delete: the original entry stays on the record with an "undone" mark next to it, so you always have the honest story of what happened. And because the undo frees it up, a daily-limited action that you reversed can be tapped again — no waiting out a cooldown you didn't mean to trigger.
Start fresh — one child or the whole family
Sometimes you don't want to undo one thing. You want a clean slate. Maybe it's a new month, a new chore season, or you're just resetting expectations after a rough week.
Now you can:
- Reset one child — zero out a single kid's balance while everyone else carries on.
- Reset the whole family — give everyone a fresh start in one move.
Here's the part that matters: resetting doesn't erase anything. It draws a fresh starting line. Balances pick back up from zero, but every past entry is still safely kept behind the scenes — so a reset you regret is reversible, not a shredded pile you can't get back. Clean slate, with an undo of its own.
When to reach for which
- Tapped something by mistake a minute ago? Undo it in History.
- Want everyone back to zero for a new chapter? Start fresh for the family.
- One kid needs a reset but the others are mid-streak? Start fresh for just that child.
You'll find Undo on each History entry, and the reset options live with each child and at the family level.
